It was the writer’s favourite day. She had a new diary, new
notebook, new list of new goals, new stories to write, new markets to crack,
new competitions to enter, new books to read, a whole 365 new days of possibilities
…

Other than all the things on your list, I'm looking forward to visiting new places in which to set my stories, meeting more of my online writing friends and hopefully getting my latest novel published.
So now you will appreciate why my fellow winner and I on Talkback's One Word Challenge chose the word NEW for January's challenge! Happy NEW Year.
