How do you let the world know when your new blog is ready to take
its place in the vast blogosphere?
Should you unveil it,
announce it,
or create a global advertising campaign?
Would it be best to launch it,
put the flags out,
or have a grand opening ceremony?
I think I’ll just quietly set sail and let my little blog
drift where it wants ...
If you’re a blogger, how did you get started?

Yay, you're open. Stumbled across your blog today. Pleased to *meet* you and welcome to the blogsphere. Have fun. I've followed you to help get you started. I only started my blog in March this year so still quite a newbie on the block!
Pleased to meet you too, Suzanne!
There ya go, Sunshine. Followed you in..
I really like the look!
Quietly is good but if you want to meet new bloggers I have a tip. I used to visit other blogs and read the comments. If I saw a comment that caught my eye I would visit that person's blog and leave a comment. It didn't take long to strike up a connection.
Have fun with it, see you soon.
Judy
Welcome aboard, Jamie and SquirrelQueen!
Once the Announcement is over you actually have to post! Get thee to a keyboard more often and all will follow in due course.
Squirrel Queen has the right idea, that's how I started too.
PS: Does that mean you are now rich?
Writing as fast as I can, Friko, but I do get distracted. For example, I've just spent half an hour over at your fascinating blog. I don't comment on all your posts but I do read them!
No, I'm not rich yet, but perhaps when my novel's published ...!
I deleted my first few posts as they were so rubbish - stuff like 'er hello, can anyone see me?'. I think I've got a bit better since.
